Where We Meet:

Cardinal Stritch University
6801 North Yates Road
Fox Point, WI

We meet in room CFA125, located in the Joan Steele Stein Center for Communication Studies  - Fine Arts Building on the Cardinal Stritch Campus.

LMA meetings occur on the 2nd Saturday of every month from September through May, and run from 9:30 - 11:30 am.

Meeting Speaker & Topic:

"Embrace the Limitation"
From time to time we all deal with creative block as artists. During our February meeting we will be watching a TED talk by artist Phil Hansen and looking at ways to overcome creative block.  Specifically we will look at being creative when limits are placed on the options available to us from which we can create a piece of art.

We will then be making individual pieces to bring to our March meeting that will have to be made using the limitations we will announce at the February meeting.   The individual pieces we create will be brought together and incorporated into an LMA group piece, the theme of which will be "2021"

LMA is returning to Cardinal Stritch this Fall.  In an effort to maintain safety, we will follow CDC recommendations, additionally, we will maintain social distancing during meetings, wear masks and provide hand sanitizer.  For those, we forget or need masks, we will be providing them at all in person meetings.
