Theme: "For the Love of Art"... The exhibition will be running over Valentines Day and the theme reflects that.  As each artist has passion about their art mediums, submit your fondest work, a painting of something or someone you love, submit a work that revolves around love.  A small and discrete heart sticker will be placed within your work, wall or bio as the patrons seek these out as they walk among the gallery of fond memories, love and passion for the arts.  

Reception:  Saturday February 9th 5:00- 6:30pm with cash awards at 6pm

Drop-Off:  February 8th 11-3pm Please be prompt.  Each artist bring an 8x10 laminated biography on hard card stock to give the buying public an insight to the artist and also read a sentence or two about how they enjoy The League of Milwaukee Artists and how long you have been a member etc. This will be hung next to the artists artwork.

Take-Down:  Sunday March 3rd 12-3 or Monday March 4th 9-2

Details:  The reception will have members of the OAC attending as they await the production "The Doris Day Tribute".  Drop off with artwork 8x10 laminated bio. In the application, please include in the comments short verbiage  how your work relates to the theme.  This will be added to your artist label.

​The Northwestern Mutual Gallery at Cardinal Stritch University is a visual gallery focusing on contemporary art in a wide range of media.

Exhibit Opportunities

The gallery seeks to actively participate in Milwaukee’s visual art culture by providing exhibition opportunities to local artists and hosting openings and ancillary events that are free and open to the general public.  The commission continues for 30 days after the exhibit closes.  You will receive a check and statement within 10 days after a sale.  ​
